The small British team which attended the Grand Prix Kooperativa in Pilsen last month showed some good progress at a very early stage in the season. Two personal bests were recorded in the Women’s Air Rifle – 392 from Sian Corish and 389 from Emma Cole-Hamilton. Sian’s score took her into the final on day one in fourth place and an excellent additional ten shot total of 102.7 overhauled a three point deficit to give her third place – losing out on second after a tie-shot. Melanie Flowers also made the podium, with third place on both days in the Under-17 Kadet competition. There were final appearances also in the Air Pistol on day one, with Julia Lydall and Georgina Geikie taking fifth and eighth respectively. Full results are available here. The British rifle & pistol team returns to the Czech Republic in early January, for the 10m Grand Prix of Pilsen, which runs from 11th to 14th of the month. The selected team is:
