Statement Regarding London Olympic Games Selection
We wish to draw your attention to the London 2012 Olympic Games selection policy for the British Shooting Team, which is available on the British Shooting website. There has been an increase in the number of questions about selection and all necessary information is contained in this policy. You will note that the selection date for the team is May 2nd 2012 and no selection for the London Olympic Games will take place before this date. Please be reassured that it is not a requirement to be on either the BS shortlist, or the World Class Performance Programme, in order to be selected for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Rifle Team for IWK Munich and European 10m Championships
The following team has been selected for the forthcoming 10m Air Rifle matches at the IWK Munich and European 10m Championships:
| Senior Men: | James Huckle, Kenny Parr |
| Senior Women: | Jenny Corish, Sheree Cox, Jen McIntosh |
| Junior Men: | Mike Bamsey |
| Coaches: | Donald McIntosh, Louise Minett, Ken Parr (ECh only) |
World Class Performance Programme 2012
The list of athletes supported on the World Class Performance Plan has been revised, and is now as follows:
