The first ISSF World Cup in the Shotgun events held last week in Santo Domingo saw encouraging results for the Great Britain team.

In Women's Trap, Charlotte Kerwood went into the final tied in first place with 2005 World Champion Italian shooter Deborah Gelisio on 72 targets. Kerwood ended 2nd in difficult weather conditions with 91 targets total to Gelisio 95 targets.

Little narrowly missed out on the finals coming 7th in Women's Skeet.

Personal bests were shot in Men's Double Trap by Steve Scott and Peter Wilson. Scott missed the finals coming 7th with 138 and Wilson (MQS) also shot a 138 qualification round.
