The 2007 European 10m Championships held last week in Deauville saw some modest results for the small Great Britain team.  Sian Corish recorded a score of 393 in the Junior Women’s Air Rifle, one point off her personal best, to take fifteenth place, recovering well from three consecutive nines on the third, fourth and fifth shots to finish with an excellent 100, 99.

In the Junior Men’s Air Rifle Kenny Parr and James Huckle both showed excellent, if not consistent, progress to record scores of 584 for 21st and 23rd place respectively while Geri Buckley struggled in the Junior Women’s Air Pistol, 353 taking 39th place.

Turning to the Senior events, Louise Minett recorded 393 in the Women’s Air Rifle for 36th place, while Julia Lydall and Kathryn Pearson took 40th and 56th in the Women’s Air Pistol with 373 and 364 respectively.
