The small British team which attended the Grand Prix Kooperativa in Pilsen last month showed some good progress at a very early stage in the season.  Two personal bests were recorded in the Women’s Air Rifle – 392 from Sian Corish and 389 from Emma Cole-Hamilton.  Sian’s score took her into the final on day one in fourth place and an excellent additional ten shot total of 102.7 overhauled a three point deficit to give her third place – losing out on second after a tie-shot.  Melanie Flowers also made the podium, with third place on both days in the Under-17 Kadet competition.  There were final appearances also in the Air Pistol on day one, with Julia Lydall and Georgina Geikie taking fifth and eighth respectively.  Full results are available here.
