Chris Hector improved dramatically on his performance in the elimination round of the Men's Three Positions event at the ISSF World Cup in Milan, to earn 28th place. He got off to a suberb start with 398 in the prone, which was bettered by only two athletes. A very steady 379 in the standing position kept him in contention, but a dip in performance in the kneeling position earned him a total of 1153, just ten points away from qualifying for the final.
Chris joins the remainder of the team in the Men's Prone tomorrow, where he will be joined by Mike Babb and Dave Phelps in seeking to reach Sunday's qualification round, while Griff Morgan and Neil Stirton go in the MQS match.
