There was a disappointing end to the ISSF World Cup in Munich, as Siân Corish and John Croydon performed well below their best in the Three Postions matches.  An out-of-sorts Siân was more than thirty points below her best with 543, and had to suffer the indignity of watching the World Record being shattered on the adjacent firing point by Germany's Sonja Pfeilschifter.  John started well with 395 prone, but experienced vision problems throughout the remainder of the match and fell away to 1131.  Despite the results, both the young Welsh shooters gained a great deal from the experience of competing at their first World Cup event.  Both will next be in action at the NSRA's 50m International Championships, which are being held at Bisley between the 16th and 18th of June.
