ImageTo top off an excellent European Championship for GBR, Rory Warlow has won the European Junior Olympic Skeet title. Shooting 121 plus 23 in the final Rory stayed one target ahead of those chasing him to take the gold medal. A fantastic achievement. Rory was on form and had won the UK Championship not long before leaving for Russia.

To add to this, the juniors won team Bronze.

Scores were: Warlow 121, (1st) Franklin 110, (22nd) and Meakin 110 (24th)

The senior men were down the field a bit with Lakey being ranked highest on 115 (36th) Christie, 115 (37th) and Allen on 113 (43rd).

Our juniors have stolen the show this week. 3 individual golds, one individual silver, one team silver and two team bronze.

Seniors have one individual silver, one team silver and one team bronze.

That means that GBR come home with 5 individual medals, the lowest being a silver and multiple team medals.

A fine haul I would suggest, giving us all hope for the future of shotgun shooting in this country.
