Peter Wilson proved his strength today at the European Championships in Kazan in the Double Trap discipline. Starting with a 42 he was almost at the bottom of the field but two magnificent rounds of 49 brought him right back up into 2nd place after the qualification rounds. A 47 in the final assured his silver medal spot, 4 targets behind D’Anniello of Italy and a target ahead of Dahlby of Sweden and Mosin of Russia who shot off for bronze. Dahlby won that particular contest and took the bronze. Peter also combined with Steve Scott and Stevan Walton to take Bronze in the team event.
