British Shooting has appointed Phil Scanlan as Team Leader for the London 2012 Olympic shooting team.

Phil, from Brentwood in Essex, currently sits on the British Shooting Olympic Performance Group, and was previously a member of the Olympic Steering Group.

A former member of the Atlanta 96 Olympic team, Phil is also is a 3 times Commonwealth Games medallist, and a previous British and English champion in rifle shooting.

He has recently returned from Osijek, Croatia where he was team manager for the GB team at the European Championships.
