Great Britain's Rachel Yardy won Bronze in the Junior Women's Trap event at the European Championships in Osijek. A qualification round score of 69 - which would have qualified for the final of the Senior Women's event - took her into the final in first place, but she was overhauled by Spain's Karina Cantarero who took Gold, and had to earn her medal in a three-way shoot-off for the Silver and Bronze. Elsewhere on the Shotgun ranges, Steve Scott lost out on a final place in the Men's Double Trap on a shoot-off, his qualification score of 140 one of four involved in the race for the last place in the final. Stephen Shirley and Luke Garner qualified for the final of the Junior Men's Double Trap, finishing fifth and sixth respectively and were joined by Chester Cobb in taking the Bronze medal in the team event. In the Senior Women's Trap, the British team lost out on a team Bronze on count-back to Germany, Charlotte Kerwood the best placed at 15th with 66. In the Men's event Ed Ling was highest placed, with 112 giving him 36th place, with Brett Winstanley the best of the British shooters in the JUnior Men's Trap with 107 for 23rd place.
