Matt Skelhon won the Gold Medal at the Mixed R3-10m Air Rifle Prone SH1 event at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China. Matt set an equal world and Paralympic record in the process finishing with a strong final result of 704.9 points in a tightly fought competition. Zhang Cuiping of China took the silver while Sim Jae-yong of the Republic of Korea took the bronze.
