Steve Scott has won the European Championship in Double Trap on Cyprus.  A qualification round of 143 took him into the final in second place, behind Hakan Dahlby of Sweden.  An excellent final round of 48 pulled him level with the Swede, Steve winning the shoot-off 2:1. Scott has recently been selected by the BOA to compete in this event in Beijing alongside Richard Faulds.

 

 

 

Scott combined with Tim Kneale and Stevan Walton to take the Silver medal in the team event, five targets behind Russia, and one ahead of Germany.  The Juniors team of Chester Cobb, Luke Garner and Stephen Shirley were third.
