Elena Little has won the World Cup Olympic Skeet Women’s event setting a new world record qualification score of 74 ex 75 and equal Final world record score of 96 ex 100. There is no quota place attaching to this event.
Elena, who won the bronze medal at the 2002 World Championships in Lahti and the silver medal at the 2005 European Championships last week in Belgrade has now gone one better.
This is an exceptional result with support from husband Chris (in the men’s team here), her coach Joe Neville, Dr Paul Holmes (MMU) and the WC Programme.
The previous world record qualification score of 72 ex 75 was set earlier this year in Lonato, Italy. |
