Richard Faulds continued his preparations for the Olympic Games with a Silver medal in the ISSF World Cup at Kerrville in the United States.  Recovering from a first round of 44 Richard shot consectuvive rounds of 49 in the Qualifcation for a total of 142 and a share of third place. 

 

A final round of 47, shot in very windy conditions, lifted him to a share of second place - just one target behind Gold medal winner Hakan Dahlby of Sweden.  A shoot-off between Richard and Jeffrey Holguin of the USA went the Briton's way, 14 to 13, giving GBR it's first World Cup medal in this Olympic year.

 

Steve Scott also shot very well in the testing conditions, coming ninth, narrowly missing out on the final.
