Richard Faulds, the 2000 Olympic Champion, was fourth in the Men's Double Trap yesterday at the ISSF World Cup in Beijing.

Faulds entered the final in equal second place with a qualification round of 141, three targets behind Vasily Mosin of Russia, who remained clear after the additional final round.  A round of 48 in the final pulled Walton Eller of the USA clear of Faulds, whose final round of 44 left him tied in third place with Saif Alshamsy of the United Arab Emirates.  In the midst of a fall of catkins so bad that the ISSF described it as looking like a snow storm, Faulds missed his first target of the tie-break to lose out on a medal.
