Vicki Mullin qualified for the final of the Junior Women's Air Pistol at the European Championships, with an excellent qualification score of 376.  She entered the final four points off the lead, but a wayward first final shot cost her dearly, and despite rallying to finish very strongly with a series of nines and tens she ended up in seventh place.  

 

Elsewhere, Ken Parr was GBR's first representative, coming 10th in the Junior Men's Air Rifle with a score of 589.  Sheree Cox shot a steady 392 for 20th place in the Junior Women's Air Rifle, and Jon Hammond secured a Minimum Qualifiying Score for Beijing with a Personal Best of 585 in the Men's Air Rifle.
