2008 World University Shooting Championships Print E-mail

British Shooting and the British Universities Sports Federation have agreed that no British athletes will take part in the World Universities Shooting Championships, which are to be held in Beijing in October of this year.
 
It is the intention of both organisations to support the Shooting events in the 2009 World University Games, which will be held in Belgrade.

Hammond to compete in Brazil Print E-mail

Jon Hammond will be Great Britain's sole representative at the first ISSF World Cup for Rifle & Pistol in 2008, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, BRA, from 21st to 29th March.  Jon will compete in all three of the Men's rifle events - 10m Air, 50m Prone & 50m Three Positions, and will be supported by World Class Rifle Coach Kimmo Yli-Jaskari.
