A new British Junior Team record was set today at the Shooting Hopes junior international in Pilsen.  Shooting in the Women's Air Rifle match, the team comprising World Class Performance Pathway athletes Sheree Cox and Melanie Flowers, along with Scotland's Jennifer McIntosh raised the ten year old record by one point to 1167.  This earned the team fifth place, just one point off a medal.  Sheree and Mel were both unfortunate to be counted out of the final, one score of 393 qualifying for the last eight. 

 

Elsewhere, the Men's Prone team also came fifth with Welsh squad member Danny Evans best placed in the individual match at 11th, and Danielle Jones set a new Personal Best of 373 for 11th place in the Women's Air Pistol.
